The programme, called ‘Business Boomers – Real Storage Wars’, will be aired on BBC 2 at 9pm and tells the story about Britain’s continued growth in the self storage industry.

Lok’nStore has been working with the BBC team for several months helping to create the programme, which will focus on how Britain’s self storage industry has become the European leader, when just three decades ago the industry didn’t even exist in the UK.

The show is the second documentary in the Business Boomers series and is likely to feature Lok’nStore CEO Andrew Jacobs, along with footage of the recent Maidenhead store opening.

Lok’nStore Director of Sales, Neil Newman, said: “I hope people take the time to watch the programme and share it with their family and friends – it is a great way for people to understand more about the industry we work in.”

Mystery shopping and performance improvement company, Douglas Stafford, provides Lok’nStore with a bespoke customer experience programme, including video mystery shopping, across all of its UK outlets.

Steve Wells, Regional Sales Manager Lok’nStore, said: “We had never used video mystery shopping before we started working with Douglas Stafford. It’s been a completely new approach for us and has given us a real insight into the levels of customer service we provide.

“We know we give good service in our industry, but for us, it is about how do we go from good to excellent, and that’s where Douglas Stafford is key. We believe our service levels have already improved.”
