Fleet Show 2014 deemed as a huge success

Organisers of the Fleet Show held at Silverstone earlier this month are already planning for next year’s event after the huge success of this year’s show.

The event, which was attended by Douglas Stafford team members Head of Communications Jamie White and Client Relationship Director Jason Jeggo, saw visitor numbers increase by 40 per cent compared to 2013.

 

The event provided an opportunity for Jamie and Jason to meet clients in a relaxed and informal environment, as well as learning more about the extensive range of cars on show.

 

New models and an array of electric vehicles caught the eye, with opportunities to take test drives around the legendary Silverstone circuit.

The event’s organisers were delighted with reaction to this year’s event from exhibitors and visitors alike.

 

Fleet Show organiser Jerry Ramsdale said: “A massive amount of thought, planning and effort went into this year’s Fleet Show.

 

“Our aim was to really raise the bar as far as fleet events are concerned and the feedback we’ve received from both visitors and exhibitors shows we’ve done just that.

 

“We have already begun planning for next year when we will be back at Silverstone again and we look forward to trying to surpass what we, the exhibitors and visitors have achieved this year.”

Along with seminars and new car displays, this year’s show also featured an indoor exhibition in halls 1-3 of the Silverstone Wing, where 60 exhibitors demonstrated some of the latest automotive developments, products and services, providing Show attendees with the opportunity to hold face-to-face meetings and network with exhibitors and other visitors.
