Following a successful pilot initiative, ‘Made for Trade’ now supplies more than 40 Hyundai Trade dealers, selected according to location and their quality of customer service.

Hyundai Mobis, the brand’s parts and service arm, will support Made for Trade, which caters for the increasing number of Hyundai vehicles.

Over the next 18 months the number of Made for Trade dealers is expected to grow rapidly, in line with an anticipated further uplift in Hyundai’s new car sales.

President and CEO, Hyundai Motor UK, Tony Whitehorn, said: “The creation of our ‘Made for Trade’ parts programme follows the introduction earlier this year of Hyundai’s overnight parts delivery service. Both help to enhance standards of aftersales care offered to customers and trade professionals.”

The new programme uses number-plate recognition software to make the ordering of Genuine Hyundai parts as fast and efficient as possible. Independent retailers also benefit from parts retailers, a stock check analysis tool, merchandise, promotional offers and training programmes.

In addition to the Made for Trade programme, Hyundai is also caring for the growing number of Hyundai vehicles over five years of age with tailored servicing options. Hyundai’s ‘5 Year Plus Servicing’ packages are designed to ensure older Hyundai vehicles are fully prepared for the road ahead.
