The launch was marked with the unveiling of a true to life replica e.dams-Renault Formula E racing car, built at 3/4-scale specifically for the KidZania London Pit Lane Experience.

Built by a team of 10 experts over five months, the scale model racing car will be pivotal to the Pit Lane Experience, immersing kids in the thrilling Renaultsport world of racing, educating them on the power of zero-emissions and giving an insight into the future of sustainable racing technology.

During the experience – based at Westfield London – kids will work together as a Renaultsport pit lane team, racing against the clock as they would at the trackside, where a hundredth of a second could be the difference between winning and losing.

All teams’ quickest times will then be included in a leader board, accessible via the KidZania London website, and the fastest time of the season will have the opportunity to win a prize.

In addition to the exciting team activity, kids will also experience the Z.E. (Zero Emission) Engineering Centre where Renault’s knowledge and leadership in the world of zero-emission sustainable mobility will educate kids.

Ken Ramirez, Managing Director, Renault UK, said: “We are incredibly proud to partner with KidZania in the UK.  It is a unique chance to educate kids on the benefits of sustainable mobility in a fun interactive team-building environment.”

Having welcomed over 38 million visitors worldwide, KidZania is a global phenomenon and one of the world’s fastest growing educational entertainment brands, with 16 locations in 13 countries. Inside the 75,000sq ft. child-size city, kids will find the streets lined with over 60 real-world establishments, including a Bank, Hospital,  Police Station, Fire Station, Airline, and Theatre, each offering real-life role play adventures in a fun and safe environment.
