Mystery shopping and customer experience company Douglas Stafford has been shortlisted for several top awards at this year’s The News Business Excellence Awards.
The company – which has its head office at Lakeside North Harbour, Portsmouth – has been named amongst the best businesses in the south, with nominations in the Customer Service, Team of the Year, Business Personality and Achievement and Large Business of the Year categories.
The nominations follow a very successful 2014 for Douglas Stafford, which saw the company build on its success, winning more exciting new contracts with some of the UK’s leading companies, adding new products to its service range, taking on more staff and mystery shoppers, and retaining clients across a range of industry sectors.
During the year, the company completed tens of thousands of customer experience projects to include telephone mystery shopping, email mystery shopping, report-based mystery shopping, video mystery shopping, auditing, customer satisfaction surveys and performance coaching.
Managing Director, Ben Sargeant, who has been shortlisted for the Business Personality and Special Achievement award, said: “To be nominated for four prestigious awards is a real testament to the hard work and effort by our excellent team.
“Each category is very different and really highlights the extensive range of services Douglas Stafford provides as a company, to our clients.”
Last year, Douglas Stafford was named Runner Up in the Large Business of the Year Award and received a Highly Commended accolade for Business Achievement and Personality, which went to Sales Director, Jason Jeggo.
This year, Douglas Stafford will also be sponsoring the Apprentice of the Year award.
Ben added: “Several of our head office team members joined Douglas Stafford as graduates or trainees and have progressed and stayed with the company since, working in several key departments. We have team members that have been with us for more than five, ten and 20 years. We are delighted to be sponsoring the Apprentice of the Year award.”
The News Business Excellence Awards take place at Portsmouth Guildhall on Friday, March 6th.
