It’s been a very busy week for the head office team, mystery shoppers and clients of mystery shopping and performance improvement company, Douglas Stafford.
Today (Friday) there has been a dress down day held in support of the company’s newly chosen Charity of the Year for 2015 – The Rowans Hospice.
Each year, Douglas Stafford team members are invited to select a chosen charity to support. And hot on the heels of the recent Comic Relief fundraising efforts, the company has chosen The Rowans Hospice as its benefactor this year.
The Rowans Hospice is a local charity, based in Waterlooville near Portsmouth, dedicated to improving the lives of people with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses. Read more about Douglas Stafford’s support here.
Also, today the UK experienced its biggest solar eclipse since 1999, as parts of Britain prepare to be plunged into partial darkness. While some parts of the world will see a total eclipse, Britain will see between 80-90 per cent of the Sun’s surface shrouded in darkness, as the moon passes in front of the sun. Earlier this week, Ducati UK announced it will host two track days on the full circuits of both Donington and Silverstone, in May and July.
The track events will be conducted with the assistance of team members from the California Superbike School, who will be there to provide expertise and guidance as well as monitor track activity. Read more here.

Renault is introducing a new higher-powered engine on its Captur crossover for customers who want higher performance, whilst retaining efficiency.
