Claire's Logo BigWith a new customer handling sales process being trialled in a cross section of its stores, Claire's Accessories wanted more meaningful insight from their Mystery Shopping. Moving away from their traditional report-based programmes, they appointed Douglas Stafford to regularly assess the performance of their branch network and show Claire's management what was happening on their front line.

Consistent high standards

From our findings, Claire's have been able to identify training effectiveness. They've also been able to compare the new sales process with the old and fine tune it where necessary. A “Best Practice” DVD is to be produced, to help management teams train existing and new staff to ensure a consistent high standard of service is the norm – no matter what Claire's store you visit.
