Douglas Stafford and its valued clients have enjoyed taking part in some team building days on the Solent, sailing the Yacht, “Lady Diane” from Portsmouth Harbour in the Solent and over to the Isle of Wight and back on various days throughout the summer.
Led by our resident skipper Tim Ionides and some of the Douglas Stafford team members who are experienced trained crew members, guests were given a crash course in sailing, from raising sails to navigating and steering this forty foot Beneteau yacht through the busy waters of the Solent, as well as tips and techniques on the best way to lap up the sunshine!
The following are a selection of photos from the various days throughout the summer which took place, along with some comments and feedback by attendees.
“Thank you so much for a most pleasant day yesterday, I thoroughly enjoyed the boat, the sun, the lunch and the company was excellent”
Sindy Carmichael-Brown

“Just a quick note to thank you once again for an excellent day yesterday out on ‘Lady Diane”
Darren Golding

“I would just like to take a couple of moments to say a massive thank you to you, Tim, Maddy, Penny and all at Douglas Stafford for such a memorable and enjoyable day yesterday. Both Lara and I had a fantastic time and felt the combination of the day’s events, company and weather couldn’t have been any better had we wished it.
Once again a massive thank you from the both of us.”
