New app – I Want A Car – launched across smartphones and tablets
By Jamie White – Head of Communications
A new smartphone and tablet app has been launched aimed at used car buyers and sellers.
In its first two weeks of trade, the I Want a Car app, has managed to generate over 1,000 leads to dealers and has over 200,000 cars currently listed. The app rocketed to the top five of its category after one day of being live and has consistent reviews of 4.5/5.
Founded by Olay Vitler and Martyn Ansell, I Want a Car aims to improve the way dealers market online and concentrates on putting the needs of the user first by utilising a simple, easy to use system that encourages the buyer to browse and discover cars.
Olay said: “Martyn and I had discussed creating this app for a long time as we felt there was a gap in the market that could make the marketing process of car sales online more efficient.
“It was really important to us that the app spoke for itself and the feedback we have had so far has been excellent. We put a lot of time into creating an interface that was straightforward for users and they seem to like the fact that they can do everything independently on one platform.”
