Marshall Cambridge supports BEN charity challenge

By Jamie White – Head of Communications

Team members at Marshall Volvo Cambridge are fundraising to support BEN – the UK’s dedicated automotive charity’s – Bangers4Ben event.

The challenge is to find a car for £700 or less, decorate it and for Darren Angel (Service Controller) and Nathan Panting to be in fancy dress.

The pair will then drive around Silverstone, The Circuit Reims in France, the Nurburgring in Germany, and then the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium – a total of 1,435 miles in four days – in their banger.

The event is run in partnership with Car Dealer magazine, with the car being auctioned off and all proceeds going to BEN.

Marshall Volvo Cambridge is covering all costs associated with the challenge, as well as providing the banger, meaning all money donated goes direct to the BEN charity.

The BEN charity supports those people who work, or have worked, in the automotive industries, as well as their dependents.
