By Jamie White – Head of Communications
Mystery shopping and performance improvement company, Douglas Stafford is delighted to announce the appointment of a new Project Manager to its continually expanding team.
Following a hugely successful start to 2014 and the addition of several new exciting mystery shopping contracts, the company is welcoming Sara Bennett to the Project Management team.
Sara will be working at the company’s Portsmouth head office – based at the thriving business hub at 1000 Lakeside – working to ensure all mystery shopping projects are managed and delivered in an efficient manner, in-line with the clients’ needs.
Sara brings a wealth of knowledge and project management experience to Douglas Stafford – now in its 25th anniversary year – having previously worked as a Project Manager in the automotive fleet industry.
Client Relations Manager, Madelaine Cook, said: “I am very pleased and excited to welcome Sara to our team. We have a strong team of Project Managers and Project Administrators, working closely with our experienced Account Management team.
“The team is the main point of contact between the client and the internal departments. Our clients liaise with them directly with regards to briefings, scenarios, data requirements, reporting, updates and mystery shopping results.”
The Project Management team is a core function and very important area within Douglas Stafford. Part of the role is to keep other teams within the business updated with all new and existing projects and make sure they are facilitating and delivering what the client requires.
Madelaine continued: “In the space of 18 months, the Project Management team has more than doubled which is a reflection on how the company continues to grow with new business and accounts. Our company head count now stands at 120 people, which is the highest it’s ever been.
“Each client is paired with a Project Manager depending on their capabilities, skillset, product knowledge and background experience of where they have worked. Our clients are in a range of industries, and we have a talented team with knowledge of all those industries, including automotive, retail, telecommunications, property, leisure, marketing and event management.”
Part of the induction for any new team member joining Douglas Stafford is to spend time with each department within the business to gain knowledge about each team’s role. They also complete a series of mystery shops, which includes telephone mystery shopping and video mystery shopping, so they get a full understanding of the processes.
Douglas Stafford has been providing bespoke mystery shopping, customer experience and performance improvement programmes to companies in a range of industries including automotive, retail, leisure, financial and property, for 25 years.
