Douglas Stafford team members attend exclusive event as guests of clients Ducati UK

Team members from Douglas Stafford came face to face with a superbike legend at Donington Park.
To commemorate the 20th anniversary of Carl Fogarty’s first World Championship win, a special dinner was held at Donington to celebrate.
The evening was hosted in Ducati Hospitality, located on the Foggy Esses, by Eurosport BSB presenter Matt Roberts who introduced Fogarty, along with Ducati team riders – Chaz Davies and Davide Giugliano, and Superbike Project Director, Ernesto Marinelli.
Fogarty answered questions from more than 100 guests, reminiscing about his race days and his career achievements.
Douglas Stafford Operations Director, Ben Sargeant, attended the event with Account Manager, Rohan Tailor and Sales Director, Jason Jeggo, as guests of Douglas Stafford clients Ducati UK.
Rohan said: “It was great to attend the event with Ducati. It was fantastic to meet the Ducati riders, as well as former world champion Carl Fogarty. Our position right on the Fogarty Esses provided an amazing vantage point to watch the racing.”
Fogarty is the most successful Superbike racer of all time, with 59 victories and four world titles.
During the weekend, Fogarty also took to the Donington Park track on a specially painted Ducati 988 – the same livery as his famous 916 from 1994.
The 48-year-old from Blackburn enjoyed entertaining the crowds at the UK’s sole round of the FIM World Superbike championship.
Fogarty said: “It was a great weekend and fantastic to be back on a bike I love, at a track that means so much to me, in front of fans who gave me such great support over the years and showed so much appreciation.”
