New systems to keep Lexus passengers entertained
By Jamie White – Head of Communications
Lexus is offering new multimedia entertainment possibilities for CT 200h customers with the launch of new DVD and iPad systems for rear seat passengers.
The range offers a wide choice of screen and connectivity options for watching movies, playing games and viewing pictures, so customers can tailor their pack to suit their preferences and their budget.
Each pack provides as standard twin front seatback-mounted, integrated docking units, even if only one DVD player or iPad holder is ordered. The DVD players can be specified as a master-and-slave combination, in which both monitors display the same image; or as master-and-master, with independent playback.
A single DVD unit can be combined with a single iPad holder, or twin iPad holders can be ordered if required.
The docks are designed for seamless integration of the systems with concealed wiring, preserving the premium quality appearance of the CT 200h interior. They also allow the hardware to be removed easily for storage out of sight when the vehicle is unoccupied.
Lexus customers can use their own headphones with the systems, or purchase optional wireless headphones as an additional option.
Prices for the packs start at £400 for the twin dock with single iPad holder; headphones are priced £40. The packs can be specified for all CT 200h grades.
