The Honda HR-V has won the highly coveted What Car? Reader Award and been named the most eagerly anticipated car launch of 2015.
Voters in the What Car? poll helped the Honda HR-V to clinch the number one spot, with an impressive 25 per cent – equating to more than 10,000 votes.
As the What Car? Reader Award is voted for by the general public, the award is seen as a great achievement and a strong indicator of the hype surrounding Honda’s latest entry into the rapidly-growing small SUV market.
The HR-V made an impressive and lasting impact when it was first unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in October 2014. With its sharp, dynamic lines and unique exterior design, it’s set to be one of Honda’s biggest stars when it’s launched this summer.
Honda UK Managing Director, Philip Crossman said: “We are thrilled that the readers of What Car? have voted the HR-V as the most eagerly anticipated car launch of 2015 and thank you for your contribution towards these votes.
“Undoubtedly, receiving this prestigious award is a fantastic triumph for Honda and being voted for by readers shows that the hard work we have put in to developing customer trust and confidence in the Honda brand has been worth it – we need to continue this over the next 12 months.”
