It’s been a very busy start to 2015 for the head office team of mystery shopping company Douglas Stafford and its clients.
On Wednesday, team members from Douglas Stafford attended an exclusive conference this week held by the company’s valued clients Kia UK. Department store John Lewis recorded its most successful sales period ever in the run up to Christmas. The British company delivered a 4.8 per cent rise in like-for-like sales across the five weeks to Christmas, hitting £777 million on the back of strong online growth and a successful advertising campaign starring Monty the penguin. An online survey completed by Honda UK customers has helped to raise more than £4,500 for the automotive charity BEN. Honda UK asked customers of small bikes and scooters to complete an online satisfaction survey after a purchase or dealer service, with 50p being donated for each completed survey. Read more here.
Renault’s UK car sales have significantly outpaced the UK car market in 2014 and reached a three-year high at 66,334 vehicles, while its subsidiary, Dacia, posted a record 23,862 sales. Read more about the Renault Group success here.

New figures have revealed that more than 73,000 homes in the UK have now been purchased via the Government’s flagship Help to Buy property scheme. Statistics from the Department of Communities and Local Government (DCLG) shows that the average purchase price was £211,566 in the first 20 months since the scheme was launched.
