It’s been a busy week for the head office team, mystery shoppers and clients of Douglas Stafford..
Today (Friday) team members at the company’s Lakeside North Harbour, Portsmouth head office donned red shirts, jumpers and tops in support of British Hear Foundation Wear it Red Day. Participants donated £1 for the privilege, with all money raised going to the charity.
Earlier this week, figures released by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) has revealed that white was the most popular colour for new cars registered in the UK in 2014.
Of the 2,476,435 new cars registered in 2014, 22.2% were white – representing the highest proportion of white cars registered in any year since records began in 1996. Read more here.
Following the success of Captur, longstanding Douglas Stafford clients Renault are continuing its offensive in the world of crossovers with the launch of Kadjar, the brand’s first C-segment crossover.
The Kadjar – due to go on sale this autumn in the UK – will also boost Renault’s ambitions on the international stage, as it is due to go on sale in Europe this summer, and in many African and Mediterranean Basin countries, followed by China. Read more about the Kadjar here.
Sportswear giant Adidas has unveiled two pairs of trainers inspired by NASA. Designed by Christian Dior Creative Director Raf Simons, the shoes are based on two pre-existing Adidas shoes – Ozweego and Response Trail. See a picture and read more here.

Gatwick Airport announced plans to operate airlines out of specific terminals – with easyJet and British Airways already agreeing to the changes.
Following a strategic review of how the North and South terminals operate, airport bosses have decided to base different airlines out of single terminals, making it easier for customers using the airlines. Read more here.
