It’s been another busy week at the head office of mystery shopping and performance improvement company, Douglas Stafford.

Today, (Friday) team members donned their best denim to take part in national ‘Jeans for Genes Day’. The fundraising event raises money for Genetic Disorders UK and aims to change the world for children with genetic disorders.

 

On Wednesday, Douglas Stafford’s valued clients Spicerhaart set sail for a special incentive day in the Solent.

 

The group met at Gunwharf Quays where they boarded Lady Diane to sail across to Cowes on the Isle of Wight for lunch. On the way back, perfect sailing weather conditions allowed the crew to get involved with raising and lowering the sails and each have a turn at the helm.

 

The first ever Invictus Games was hailed as a huge success by competitors, organisers and main sponsor Jaguar Land Rover.

The international sporting event, which was championed by Prince Harry and presented by Jaguar Land Rover, saw Servicemen and women from 13 nations join together in London and compete across four days of inspirational sport. You can read more here.

 

The world went Apple crazy as the technology firm unveiled three new products – iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus and the Apple Watch. Queues formed at stores as the iPhone 6 was officially released today. You can find out more here.

 

Also this week, Ford revealed the all-new Ford S‑MAX, a stylish and innovative reinvention of the trend-setting seven-seat sports activity vehicle. More information can be found here.

 

Kia’s stylish all-new Soul range expanded with the arrival of two high specification models – the Soul ‘Mixx’ and ‘Maxx’.

 

The models – which are now available in dealer showrooms – create an impressive presence on the road and are differentiated from the three launch models by their 18 inch alloy wheels, urban styling pack and LED daytime running lights. You can read more here.

Excitement is already building ahead of the second Formula E race, following last weekend’s inaugural opener.

 

The race in Beijing, which involved drivers all racing the same Spark-Renault SRT_01E engine cars, reached a dramatic climax when race leaders Nick Heidfeld and Nicolas Prost collided, sending Heidfeld’s vehicle flying before hitting a barrier. You can read more and watch a dramatic video here.
