A team member from mystery shopping and performance improvement company, Douglas Stafford, was at the PSP Southampton Boat Show at the weekend.
Douglas Stafford Commercial Director John Fieldhouse met with clients and was able to check out the latest exciting new models on display.
More than 148 boats made their debut at this year’s event – 28 more than last year – which allowed John, who has a keen interest in boats, to enhance his product knowledge.
John joined more than 100,000 visitors at the event, which takes place at Southampton’s Mayflower Park across nine days.
There were also plenty of famous faces in attendance, including The One Show presenter, Matt Baker, Olympic gold medallist Sir Ben Ainslie, Strictly Come Dancing host Claudia Winkleman and Southampton footballers Ryan Bertrand and Jack Cork.
Other attractions at the nautical extravaganza included the tall ship Phoenix, which has featured in films and TV shows including Dr Who and the Boat Show Eye Ferris Wheel.
The event also raised thousands of pounds for the show’s official charity, the Andrew Simpson Sailing Foundation, which was set up in 2013 in memory of Olympic gold medallist Andrew ‘Bart’ Simpson MBE who died last year.
