The company’s Maidenhead was named as Facility of the Year at the recent Self Storage Association UK (SSA) awards ceremony.

The SSA recognised the efforts of Lok’nStore in delivering a fantastic new centre in Maidenhead, which has benefited from the combined knowledge and innovation of the Lok’nStore team and the incorporation of a Lidl supermarket within the building.

The award recognised both the expansive plans Lok’nStore has in place for its growing company – including the recent Box’nStore service – and the achievement of providing customers with modern centres that are bright, clean and secure.

Lok’nStore CEO, Andrew Jacobs, said: “This award demonstrates that in order to provide our customers with attractive facilities, we are ready to push the boundaries of self storage facility design. And with the industry association recognising that fact, we are confident that we will continue to supply facilities that warrant this kind of recognition.

“I would specifically like to thank the centre staff in Maidenhead who provide our customers with great service everyday and uphold the idea that we are the big friendly storage company.”

Mystery shopping and performance improvement company, Douglas Stafford, provides Lok’nStore with a bespoke customer experience programme, including video mystery shopping, across all of its UK outlets.
