A staff member from one of the UK’s leading car dealer groups – Lookers – has set himself two tough challenges to raise money for charity.

On Monday (March 16th) Lookers F&I Sales Support Coordinator, Chris Worth, will be setting off from Lookers Head Office in Manchester for a 2,500 mile drive to Barcelona and back, to raise awareness and much-needed funds for the British Heart Foundation.

The journey there and back will be done in just six days, and Chris will be posting regular updates on Twitter and Facebook.

In addition to this, Chris will also be making a trip to Scotland in May 2015 with the Lookers F&I development team, to take on Britain’s highest peak – Ben Nevis.

The cost of both trips is being covered by Lookers and one of the company’s key finance partners. Vehicles for both events are being supplied by Lomond Audi – part of the Lookers Group – which means all donations will go direct to charity.

Chris said: “I must say a big thank you to all of you who are supporting me in my fundraising efforts for the British Heart Foundation – I’m extremely grateful!

“I’ve never attempted anything like this before. I would love to reach my £1,500 target for the BHF before my journey begins on Monday.

“With everyone’s support, I’m confident I can successfully complete the Barcelona trip and also make it up and down Ben Nevis in one piece in May!”

Anyone wishing to sponsor Chris can do so by texting LKRS99 and the amount they wish to donate to 70070 or online at justgiving.com/heartlookers
