The most obvious of these are the black external design elements which are common to all Skoda Monte Carlo models. These include the alloy wheels, front and rear spoiler, rear diffuser, grille and door mirrors. The car also comes with lowered suspension for a more dynamic stance on the road.

New features in the spacious cabin include a sports steering wheel and Monte Carlo red/black upholstery. Skoda’s innovative PID (Portable Infotainment Device) is also standard, offering satellite navigation, trip and vehicle information, Bluetooth connectivity and a media player.

The Skoda Citigo Monte Carlo is available with a single engine option, the popular three-cylinder 1.0-litre 60PS mated to a five-speed manual transmission. Environmental performance is outstanding, with 62.8mpg fuel economy on the Combined Cycle and CO2 emissions of only 105g/km.

The three-door model costs £10,590 while the five-door version is priced £10,940.
