Douglas Stafford Mystery Shopping Weekly Round Up

It’s been a very busy week for the head office team, mystery shoppers and clients of mystery shopping and performance improvement company, Douglas Stafford.

Douglas Stafford Mystery Shopping turns red in support of Comic Relief

 

Today (Friday) team members donned an array of red clothing to support the company’s valued clients, Toyota UK, and their £1 million fundraising campaign.

 

A whole series of charity initiatives have been taking place to raise money for the cause. The total raised by the Douglas Stafford team currently stands at more than £400. You can read all about it here.

 

There was delight for the team last weekend, after scooping two awards at the coveted The News Business Excellence Awards. Team members enjoyed a ceremony at the Portsmouth Guildhall, scooping the Special Recognition award for Large Business of the Year and Business Achievement for Managing Director, Ben Sargeant.

Douglas Stafford also sponsored the Apprentice of the Year award which was won by Coffin Mew’s Emily Bell. Ben presented the winners’ award to Emily on stage, and the run up accolade to NHS Trust’s Alice Appleford. Read all about the evening here.

 

This week there has been specialist Video Mystery Shopper training taking place at Douglas Stafford’s head office, to ensure shoppers are fully trained and amongst the best in the field.

Earlier this week, Douglas Stafford Managing Director, Ben Sargeant, Operations Manager, Paul Brown and Head of Communications, Jamie White joined other senior business leaders at the Portsmouth Business School for a special evening focusing on the Value Added-Board’s Director training. This week, the Government launched a consultation on plans to improve motorcycle training. The proposals include upgrading compulsory basic training (CBT) to improve the riding of younger learners, which has been largely unchanged for the last 25 years. Read more here.

It was announced this week that an exciting new fleet deal will see Network Rail supplied by a range of new commercial vehicles by Volkswagen. Read more here.

 

The automotive charity BEN is calling on cyclists to take part in this year’s London to Paris 24 Cycle Challenge. The 240-mile event takes place between Friday June 5th-7th and has already attracted some strong entrants. Find out more here.
